MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Dom is a licensed chiropractor with over 12 years of hands-on bodywork experience. Her journey began as a massage therapist, where she specialized in Ayurvedic bodywork and craniosacral therapy, which has shaped her integrative approach to chiropractic care. By combining the subtle, healing principles of Ayurveda & craniosacral therapy with chiropractic adjustments, she is able to address both the structural and energetic aspects of the body, promoting deeper healing and balance. Now her practice is deeply focused on women’s reproductive health, offering a unique blend of modalities to support overall well-being.
As a Gyno Chiro Initiate, Dr. Dom has been training with Dr. Danielle Cornelius, focusing pelvic floor fascia rebalancing techniques to support women’s pelvic health. She has also studied the Level Pelvis Method under Dr. William Ruch, a technique designed to help promote pelvic balance, easing discomfort in the hips, pelvis, and lower back. Dr. Dom is also certified in the Webster Technique, a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment aimed at improving function & alignment in the sacral and pelvic region. These methods both aim to create more ease in the pelvis, supporting women before, during & after childbirth.
Her comprehensive approach integrates her extensive background in bodywork and chiropractic care, creating a nurturing environment where patients can experience alignment, balance, and a healthy pelvis & spine.
WHAT MAKES THE CENTER DIFFERENT?
My practice is dedicated to the wisdom of women’s bodies, focusing not just on pain relief but on long-term wellness and education through in office visits, homecare protocols & workshops. I want to emphasize the vital connection between the spine, pelvis, and menstrual health. Unlike many traditional chiropractic practices, I take a little longer with each appointment adjusting the spine, working on releasing muscle tension due to fascial restriction & give the nervous system time to unwind. I’m all about addressing the root causes, helping you thrive—not just manage symptoms, which means the work doesn’t stop once you leave the office. My mission is to empower, educate & support you to learn about your body & create a lifestyle that let’s it thrive.
WHY I STARTED THIS PRACTICE
Growing up, I struggled with moderate to severe menstrual issues, along with a couple of hip and tailbone injuries that affected my well-being. Through my own healing journey, I realized how many women overlook period pain and pelvic health, only addressing it when trying to conceive or when something goes wrong. It became my mission to teach women the importance of understanding their cycles and caring for their reproductive health long before motherhood is a consideration (or even if it isn’t a consideration at all). By normalizing conversations around pelvic floor health, period health, and maintaining a healthy spine, I aim to ensure that every woman can understand how their bodies work & in turn build a healthy relationships with the most sacred part of them self.
WHAT IS GYNO FASCIAL REBALANCING?
Gyno Fascial Rebalancing™ is a trauma-informed healing approach that focuses on restoring balance to the internal and external female pelvis. Through intravaginal assessment of the pelvic muscles, techniques such as intravaginal myofascial release, trigger point therapy, breathwork, and visualization are used to support both physical and energetic alignment. Each session includes a joint assessment, necessary adjustments, and concludes with guidance on pelvic self-care to maintain balance between treatments.
